The Other KVD's 10 Excuses For Not Catching Fish

Believe it not, I don't always catch fish. Sometimes I go for a day on the lake and I get "skunked," or "Other KVD'ed," as my neighbor's kid likes to call it, and I don't get a single bite. For days like those, I like to do every fisherman's favorite past time: lie. I have come up with a foolproof list of 15 excuses GUARANTEED to trick everyone into thinking you're a better bucket mouth hunter than you actually are. Go ahead and use these, just know they came from the great mind of The Other KVD.

1. Too Many People On The Boat

2. Too Many Pleasure Boaters

3. Too windy

4. Not windy enough

5. It was way too hot to fish

6. It was way too cold to fish

7. There’s no fish in this lake

8. Forgot my good rod

9. I JUST missed a bunch of bites

10. Someone was in my lucky spot
