[VIDEO] 4 Year Old Catches Monster Walleye With Spiderman Pole

While fishing in Colorado this past month, an angler hooked into a monster walleye. Why is this special, you might ask? Well, the angler was 4 years old, wearing a Spiderman life vest, and using a Spiderman fishing rod.

Colorado's Rocky Mountain waterways don't always grow walleye to the biggest of sizes (the state record is 34 inches), so Tristan's father might have been correct when he said Tristan caught "a bigger walleye than dad will ever catch!"The lesson to be learned here is this: whenever an angler overthinks what to use, when to use it, and the proper technique, you can remind him what fishing is really about.
