A GIANT 98 Pound Catfish = New Lake Record

An absolute unit of a flathead catfish was recently pulled from Illinois' Lake Springfield. An unnamed but experienced looking angler caught this 98-pound flathead catfish while fishing at night on this small central Illinois lake.

The mega cat was caught, measured, and then released where it can continue to get thicc and provide anglers with the opportunity to catch a new lake record (assuming the fish is going to continue to grow)
