Watch This Sea Lion Charge A Fisherman Who Stole His Spot!
Today in "Reasons Not To Steal A Fishing Spot," a man in Australia was charged by a savage sea lion the instant the sea lion saw him in his spot.
I'm not going to lie, I had no idea sea lions had closing speed like that. My only thoughts of sea lions were the ones in Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco that thousands of tourists inexplicably take pictures of while they nap all day and occasionally roll over to yell or scratch their bellies.
The moral of the story is never steal another man (or sea lion's spot). Ever. The sea lion was there first, move it down the shore pal.The best part of the video, however, was the tiny white dog running to protect his clumsy owner trying to escape the charging sea lion. You can see his animal instincts kick in right at the moment his person takes a tumble, when he rushes over to bark the huge sea lion right back into the ocean where he belongs. Dogs remain the best.
