Japanese Baseball Team's Anglerfish Mascot Is Insane, Kind Of Awesome

The Chiba Lotte Marines, a Professional Japanese Baseball team, have the best mascot in all of professional sports. Or the worst mascot in all of professional sports. We can't tell. Check out their anglerfish mascot in all its glory here:

I know, right? The anglerfish, commonly credited as the fish who invented fishing, was equipped with a rod shaped beam floating from its head to draw in prey. It lives in the depths of the Pacific Ocean and now, for some reason, has found land on a baseball diamond. What takes the mascot from weird to insane is the puking up of a skeleton, which then freaks out and runs around like he was wearing the anglerfish as clothes, until he dives back into the anglerfish's mouth. It is truly a sight to see.

I've never been to a Japanese Baseball game, but it almost seems worth the price of admission to see this level of dedication to our aquatic friends. Also, don't tell him they serve sushi at the ballpark.
