Minnesota Man Buys Billboard Space To Prank His Fishing Buddy

Brainerd, Minnesota - A group of fishing buddies recently pranked their friend by purchasing ad space on a digital billboard and writing "This is Troy. He sucks at fishing.". The group included Troy's picture and then a follow-up message on the next screen that read "Talk smack to him at Troysucks2@gmail.com"

The prank was perfectly timed since the trap was set just before the 32nd Annual Brainerd Jaycee's Ice Fishing Contest, which is one of the largest ice fishing events on earth. Thousands of anglers driving on MN-371 were able to get a glimpse of the sign as they headed to the ice fishing extravaganza. Full story here.
