Welcome Pro Angler Seth Feider To The Mystery Tackle Box Team!

Seth Feider, professional angler and good dude, has joined the Prostaff with us here at Mystery Tackle Box! Seth has appeared in 36 tournaments so far, getting in the money in a whopping 20 of them. He is one of the fastest rising stars on the tour, gaining notoriety for his ability to catch BIG smallmouth anywhere in the country easier than most anglers can catch a panfish in a stocked pond. To introduce some of our readers to Seth, we had him answer a few questions about his fishing past, style, and life. MTB, meet Seth Feider:

  1. Tell us a little about yourselfBorn and raised in Bloomington MN, fell in love with fishing when I was about ten years old and been working on my craft and chasing my dreams for the last 20 years.
  2. How did you get started fishing?My father took me fishing a lot when I was a kid, mostly for panfish but he started the fire.
  3. What is your go-to setup?A wacky rigged Biospawn Exostick, catches fish every where.
  4. What is your PB?13-4 large mouth and 7-2 Smallmouth.
  5. When did you get your first boat? Seth's 2017 Boat featuring Rapala, Daiwa and BioSpawn Lure Company
    I got my first boat when I was 12 it was a 12 ft John boat, it was my dad's old duck boat. The first year I just had oars, the second year I got a 12v trolling motor and the third year I got a 5 HP Sears outboard.
  1. What is your favorite lake?Mille Lacs.
  2. What would you say is your biggest weakness in fishing?Fishing places or condition when you get very few bites, hard to figure anything out.
  3. What is one place you’ve never fished but would love to?Bullards Bar.
  4. What is one fish you’ve never caught but would love to?Golden Dorado.
  5. What’s your favorite topwater bait?Storm Arashi Top Walker and a buzz bait.
  6. When is your favorite time of year to fish?October in the north country.
  7. Take a wild guess at how many fish you’ve caught in your life1 million bass ( in Dr evil voice).
  8. Who’s your favorite person you’ve ever fished with?Mark Zona and Steve Quinn
  9. Do you have some advice for someone looking to get into tournament fishing?Join a bass club, great way to learn and not blow a bunch of dough. Or if their young enough high school and college bass clubs are awesome.
  10. What are you most looking forward to about the upcoming season?Qualifying for my first Bassmaster Classic!
