As soft plastic baits go, Doomsday Tackle Laggin Dragon is the best of SEVERAL worlds. Weightless Texas-Rig this bait with a 5/0 EWG, then just fish it like a stick bait and the tail will do all the work for you! Jerk the bait slowly along the top and the wonky weight system will force it to walk back and forth extremely wide. Just throw it in the water and something will come bite it! The “hybrid” style of the bait may confuse some anglers, but it won’t confuse the fish. As long as you get it on a hook and below the surface, they’ll see it as a snack.
