Feather Jig

Locate clear water crappie, perch, and crappie with the natural appearance of the Nothead Tackle Feather Jig. The Nothead Feather jig is the goto jig for fishing clear grassy lakes where fish tend to get spooked easily and refuse to bite most artificial lures. Although the Feather Jig works great for clear water panfish, Nothead’s 9 color lineup is great for all lake water clarities.

-5’ 8” ultra light or 6’ light spinning rod
-5.1:1 gear ratio spinning reel
-3-6lb fluorocarbon

Where To Fish:

-Around dock pylons
-Around thick brush
-Deep weed patches
-In grass pockets

When To fish:

-Early Fall
-Mid Summer
-Early spring

-Rig with 1” soft plastic grub
-Tip with a minnow or wax worm
