Googan Squad Two Step Topwater Walking Bait

The Two Step was designed to walk and dance its way into a topwater strike. Inside the bait is a single BB that emits a loud knocking sound that thicc girls can’t resist. Cast this out a country mile, and call in a mondo to the dance floor. Equipped with 3 sticky sharp treble hooks and available in 10 different colorways. Several colorways include an offset colored top fin to act as a tracer to see in low light conditions or on long casts. This can help you keep your walk-the-dog cadence.

Pro Tip:

  • Throw this when bass are keyed on baitfish, especially if they’re schooling on baitfish at the surface. Topwater walking baits can excel around shallow cover, or out deep when fish are suspended under baitfish. Baits like this are great choices on cloudy days or low light conditions.
  • After you’ve casted, point your rod tip down. While leaving a little slack in your line, twitch your rod tip with a consistent cadence to pick up the slack. This will cause the Two Step to start darting side to side in a walk-the-dog motion. Continue the cadence until the Two Step dances it’s way into a strike. The speed of your cadence can be varied depending on what the fish want.
