Tour Grade Football Jig

The Strike King Tour Grade Football Head Jig is ideal for deep water fishing and punching through matted weeds. The unique football shaped head has more surface area and helps the bait stand-up on the bottom. The jig is built on an extremely sharp Gamakatsu® 60 degree round bend hook for optimal hook sets. It also features durable powder coated paint, color coordinated weedgaurds and premium skirts for a lifelike presentation. The fiber weedguard helps prevent line from being cut while providing protection from hangups.

This bait should be fished on the bottom with a slow dragging retrieve and short twitches to mimic a fleeing crawdad or bait fish. We recommend a 6:4:1 gear ratio reel and a 7 ft. medium heavy action rod with at least 12lb test mono, floro, or braided fishing line.
