Shipping & Return Information
We will always ensure our customers receive their shipment. If your order does not arrive within the expected delivery timeline below, please just click the HELP link at the top of our website and send us a message or send us an email to [email protected] and we'll be happy to locate your shipment or send a replacement shipment if necessary.
Expected Delivery Time
All subscription boxes ship within 10 days of the order being placed. All other products including specialty boxes, rods, reels, apparel items and other fishing accessories ship within 7 business days of the order being placed. Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email along with tracking information which is also available from the main page of your online account. If you purchase upgraded 2-day expedited shipping your order will ship out the following business day of the order date and will be delivered within 2 business days. If you purchase over the weekend your shipment will ship out on Monday. All orders will be delivered Monday through Friday.
You can expect delivery within 5-7 business days for all customers within the continental United States. Customers in Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Puerto Rico or a United States Military Base are asked to wait up to 2 business weeks for shipments to arrive.
Fishing Rods are not available to ship to Canada. For all other orders, you can expect delivery within 2-3 weeks after your order has shipped. Canadian tracking information is only active while a shipment is in transit within the United States. Tracking information will not update beyond the Canadian border.
We ship all of our products (with the exception of Fishing Rods) with UPS and the United States Postal Service (USPS). UPS Small parcels will be the carrier on all expedited 2-day shipping orders. UPS is the carrier that picks up the orders from our facility and then the individual packages are handed off to the USPS to make the final delivery to your address. Fishing Rods are shipped with FedEx directly from our partner facility.
We currently ship within the United States and Canada. Fishing Rods are only available in the United States and not available to ship to Canada.
All of our monthly subscription boxes ship for FREE within the United States and Canada. All other items including our specialty boxes, apparel, reels, and additional ecommerce items require a shipping fee. We do offer an option to upgrade your shipping at this time. Select items will have the option to purchase with 2-day expedited shipping for just $9.99.

Tracking My Order
Once your order ships, we will send you a confirmation email with tracking information. You can also login to your account at any time to check the status of your shipment and view tracking from the main page after logging into your account. Tracking numbers may take a full 24-48 hours from the ship date to activate, and it's normal for a few days to go by without a location update. Please be aware that if your order contains more than one item you may receive more than one tracking as products may ship from different locations depending on the item ordered.
All shipments come equipped with forwarding capabilities which means customers can edit their shipping address while a shipment is in transit by contacting a USPS Post Office and requesting 'Mail Forwarding' to get your package re-routed. Please be aware it can take up to an additional 2 weeks to arrive once a shipment has been re-routed.
Returns & Exchanges
Karl offers a 60-day hassle free return policy on most Karl's Bait & Tackle shop orders within the US, including but not limited to all reels, apparel, tackle, additional fishing items, and all accessories. This policy excludes rods and Mystery Tackle Boxes (see below for details).
You may return a qualifying product(s) for a full refund or exchange of the purchase within 60 days of the original order date. Products must be unused and returned in original packaging if possible. You’re welcome to open your package and inspect the product before the return. Proof of purchase is necessary.

Excluded Items: We do not accept returns or exchanges for Mystery Tackle Boxes, specialty boxes, other subscription boxes, rods or personalized items. Subscription boxes or any product received in the boxes are nonrefundable and are ineligible for returns.
Return Shipping: Returns for credit are FREE, though $2 return shipping fee will apply to all items being fully refunded. Returns from Canada are not accepted at this time.
Account Credit Usage: If following your purchase, you spent the associated account credit before arranging a return, your total refund will reflect the purchase price of the product minus the dollar value of the credit spent. Unused account credit tied to the purchase will be removed from your account when your refund issued.
Used Products: We do not accept returns for products that have been used or are not returned in original packaging.
Warranty Requests: Please contact the manufacturer with warranty or repair issues directly. Many of the products offered by Karl's Bait & Tackle are covered by great manufacturer warranty and repair programs. This may be a good option if you've already used your product and have since discovered a manufacturer defect. If you have any trouble contacting the manufacturer directly, please just click the HELP link at the top of our website and send us a message or send our support team an email to [email protected] with your full name, email address and order number (if available) and we'll be happy to help.
30-day No Hassle Returns (GOOGAN SQUAD GREEN SERIES AND GOLD SERIES RODS ONLY)
If within the first 30 days of receiving delivery of your new Googan Squad Green Series or Googan Squad Gold Series Rod from shopkarls.com, you're not completely satisfied—for any reason—you may return it for a full refund. If you believe you are entitled to take advantage of these terms, please contact us at [email protected] for instructions on how to do so.
The 30-day Returns Policy is limited to one return per household per year, and it must be exercised directly with Karl’s Bait & Tackle no later than the 30th day following delivery of the Product for which you want a refund.
Our 30-day Returns policy applies only to original purchasers or gift recipients of genuine Catch Co. products who purchased their product(s) directly from the website at shopkarls.com. The 30-day Returns Policy may not apply, or may apply differently, to purchases of Catch Co. products via other distribution channels. The 30-day Returns Policy only applies during the period in which the product is owned and controlled by the original purchaser of that Product. The 30-day Returns Policy likewise only applies if the product is in the United States at the time you wish to return it. PLEASE RETAIN THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE RECEIPT SO THAT YOU CAN PRESENT IT TO US IF NECESSARY. TO STREAMLINE RETURNS PLEASE RETAIN YOUR ORIGINAL PACKAGING SO THAT IT CAN BE USED TO SHIP THE PRODUCT BACK TO US.
3-year Limited Manufacturer Warranty (GOOGAN SQUAD GREEN SERIES AND GOLD SERIES RODS ONLY)
Googan Squad Green Series and Googan Squad Gold Series Rods are covered against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase. You must register your rod by completing a Warranty Registration Form within forty five (45) days of the date of purchase in order for claims to be eligible. If you believe you are entitled to take advantage of these terms, please contact us at [email protected], and one of our representatives will ask that you fill out a Warranty Claim form.

For the period indicated above, Catch Co will repair or replace and return the covered items found to be defective in material or workmanship at no charge except for shipping cost. Catch Co will have no other obligation and will not be liable for incidental or consequential damages. Catch Co makes no implied warranty for any period beyond the stated duration. This Warranty does not cover damage by alteration of the product, addition to the product, accidental damage or loss, abuse, failure to provide reasonable and necessary maintenance or normal expected wear. This warranty does not extend to products that are used for commercial or rental purposes. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser of the rod, and does not give any rights to any other person. This warranty is valid for purchases from any authorized retailers, including but not limited to shopkarls.com, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Academy Sports & Outdoors, and Walmart. Rods requiring warranty repair should not be returned to the store of purchase. PLEASE RETAIN YOUR PURCHASE OR GIFT RECEIPT SO THAT YOU CAN PRESENT IT TO US IF NECESSARY.
